During my time at Cybernetic Entertainment, I worked on Luminant Music, a 3D music visualizer app, where I was primarily responsible for creating a vast number of music responsive scenes in Unity which covered a wide range of visual styles and compositions. These scenes were all built to be highly optimized for use on mobile devices while maintaining high level visuals for desktop users. My work on these scenes included modeling, texturing, lighting, creating shaders and effects, performance profiling for optimization, and writing the C# scripts to control them.
My name is Brandon Shirk. I am a 3d artist and Unity Developer currently living in Dallas, Texas. I have 3 years of professional experience in creating 3D models, textures, and shaders as well as writing C# scripts for scenes and creating editor tools to assist our team with internal needs. My primary focus has been in creating high quality assets optimized for use in real-time rendering on a wide range of hardware from mobile devices to high-end desktops.
